- We’ve developed a high performance 3-ply construction for the base of the Chai Maker.
- The first thing your heat source sees is a layer of durable, induction compatible stainless steel.
- A sandwiched aluminium layer then evenly spreads heat, eliminating hot spots and affording maximum heat transfer to the base pot. This allows you to use a relatively high heat setting to reach a simmer quickly without burning the delicate milk proteins.
- Finally a premium 304 stainless steel rapidly heats your chai to a gentle simmer.

Meet the team
Anish & Nikhil met at University over their love of music, basketball and chai. During COVID Anish was diagnosed with cancer. After many walks together drinking chai during his recovery, they moaned about how annoying it is to make and set off on a mission to solve this problem. They met Andy, an incredible engineer, and Jon, world class industrial design partner at renowned design agency Pentagram, and the dream team was formed. Loka is the result of 3 years of researching, developing, testing and tasting 1000s of cups of chai!
