We built a complete and comprehensive system from scratch. Focusing on using only premium materials and developing features that are original to our product line and hyper useful to you.

The buddy. app is user-friendly and intuitive. We built it to be just as capable as our devices. All of the most used tools are quickly accessible and we even built in features that are unique to our product line.
The buddy. System works with Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa!
No hidden costs, no surprises, and no strings attached! We wanted buddy. to be as affordable as possible, so we built all the functionality into the devices themselves so that we don’t need the cloud to process the AI for the smart alerts. This results in both faster detections and no need for a monthly fee for the devices to operate.

All of the buddy. devices are built with recyclable materials, when it is time for our new devices to be released, we will ship you our new system and have you ship back your old system to us. We will then recycle any materials we can (such as the aluminum frame) into new devices.
We also ask that you give us feedback often so that we can make the best possible system for many years to come! There is a special part of the buddy. application that only backers will have access to where you can vote on the new designs and features for future devices.

One of the defining features of all the buddy. products is the use of a large LED ring or panel. When designing the devices our team wanted to build a way for the devices to communicate with you and your visitors in an effective and inviting way as well as serve as a deterrent for intruders.

The front of buddy. Doorbell features the signature LED ring, a large doorbell button, and a 12 Megapixel AI enhanced camera.
The top and bottom of the doorbell have both a speaker and a microphone.
The entire enclosure is made of CNC machined 7076 aluminum. We chose to use this material to ensure our products are as durable and premium as possible.
The back of the buddy. Doorbell features an area for you to wire your doorbell if your home is wired for a doorbell. It can run without being wired as it has a 10,000 mAH internal rechargeable battery. The battery can be recharged with a USB-C cable that is provided.

The buddy. Chime unit is powered by an internal 12,000 mAH battery, you can also plug in the unit to an outlet or power it via USB-C. The chime unit has a powerful and loud speaker to alert you when the doorbell has been pressed, door is open, or the alarm is triggered. You also get these alerts to your app!
How the buddy. Chime unit performs can all be customized to your liking in the buddy. application. You can change the sound it plays when the doorbell is pressed and even have the LED panel change colors when you have a package that has been delivered.
