Why does Flow 2 look so premium at first sight?
When a product feels solid, precise, and premium—chances are it’s CNC-made. Only CNC machining can shape aluminum into a clean, solid block, never spliced.
We redesigned the bottom case to feature a seamless, solid flat base plate, the Rounded corners eliminate sharp edges—delivering a sleeker profile while maintaining ergonomic comfort.
On the aluminum surface, we applied #205-grit anodized processing, delivering a smooth matte finish that resists scratches and fingerprints — subtle in sheen, yet soothing and solid in hand.
On the choice of finishing grades: We explored #220-grit anodizing but found the extra cost didn’t meaningfully bring any noticeable feel or looks. Compared to the standard #150-grit or enhanced #180-grit, #205-grit strikes the perfect balance, giving that satisfying “baby skin” touch with every use.

Two years ago, when low-profile keyboard brands cared only about looks, nobody thought much about typing feel. But we did. We dared to invest deeply in creating the Shadow Series switches.
Flow keyboards featuring these switches flew off the shelves. Users had one clear request: “Make it lighter.” So, we developed Shadow Series 2.
Then something remarkable happened — by open-sourcing the Shadow Series, we sparked an industry-wide low-profile revolution, with more brands adopting these switches to redefine typing feel.
But after studying 200,000+ users, we uncovered a deeper insight:
Today’s creators crave more than just lightness—they want that lightness paired with consistent, feather-light feedback at their fingertips.
Thus, the Cloud Series was born:
Like Shadow, Cloud uses POM — a self-lubricating material that keeps typing smooth over time. But while Shadow delivers a heavier press with solid bottom-out and distinct initial feedback, the Cloud Series offers lighter press with firm bottom-out and bouncy initial feedback.

Once we realized typing demands had reached athletic levels, we stopped designing keyboards like “casual footwear.”
How do you preserve essential tactile feedback while reducing long-term mechanical fatigue? -We engineered, prototyped, and manufactured a physics-driven solution:
- 0.01mm, Precision redefined
When people hear we reduced the switch tolerance from 0.05mm to 0.04mm, they often think, It’s just 0.01mm, right? But in precision engineering, that 0.01mm is huge.
That extra precision gives 12% smoother keystrokes and more stabilized return. You might not see the difference, but you’ll definitely feel it.
- 12 Stabilizer Dots
We doubled the number of contact dots inside each switch — from 6 to 12 — like adding extra legs to a stool for rock-solid stability. More dots distribute wear evenly and keep the stem perfectly centered, even under intense typing.
This delivers the light presses with crisp, rapid rebounds and perfectly straight vertical travel — all in one effortless keystroke.

Bad backlighting? We cracked it with simple math: a bigger light hole (3.2x larger) and smarter angles. Now keys cut through darkness with laser-sharp spotlights—no more fuzzy neon glow.
