⚡Clarification on Power Limits in European Areas⚡
We recently heard from some of our riders in Europe about local laws limiting the speed of bikes and e-bikes. We completely understand and comply with these regulations, and LIVALL always prioritizes rider safety while respecting local rules.
Regarding power output, the rated motor power is 250 watts, with a peak motor power of 500 watts, which may vary depending on local laws. We specifically included this adjustment in the app to ensure compliance with each region’s laws and regulations. When you first install and pair your PikaBoost 2 with the app, it will automatically recognize your location and adjust the maximum speed to comply with local regulations. This means that when you use PikaBoost 2 in Europe, your maximum speed, even with the assist, will be capped at 25 km/h.
