- Aim to keep all of your attention on the spinning egg. You can practice keeping your attention on the egg wherever you are, no matter how much disturbance is around you.
- You can choose to notice different aspects of the ovOlio. You might notice the movement, the wooden fibers, or the reflection. Just make sure you’re being curious rather than trying to be perfect.
- If you notice your brain wandering just note it and then bring your attention back to the egg.
- At the end of the exercise take a few seconds to reflect on your experience and what you learned from the practice.
- Repeat this quick exercise whenever you can to build your attentional muscle.

The Idea
ovOlio is a personal Kickstarter project and it serves as a physical reminder that amidst it all, I am still the one who chooses what to pour into my soul – peace instead of stress, joy instead of grief, and to continue to balance and move forward like a perpetual motion.
The egg-shaped form is a symbol of this journey, and its continuous movement reminds me that things keep moving even when they seem still.
The first prototype focused on the product’s size, and ensuring that it was small enough to be portable, while also remaining functional.
For the final prototype, I worked on increasing the spinning time and optimizing the aroma, ensuring that it became the main feature of the product.
