Nearly 4 years ago I asked myself: Why do I have to wrap myself in plastic every time I work out?
As a training enthusiast who basically lives in activewear, I never felt truly good in these plastic-y feeling clothes, they were itchy and I had to wash them after almost every use. And I realized I wasn’t the only one, turns out that almost everyone I spoke to felt the same way.
In search of a better solution, I realized that conventional activewear is mostly made from polyester, a plastic commonly derived from crude oil, that has harmful effects both on our planet and health. Since nothing was available, I decided to create the solution myself. One that is good for our bodies and planet: A new generation of activewear that is made from innovative natural materials instead of plastic, free from toxins, and with an ethical supply chain.
And that’s when Tripulse was born.

Our recipe for a great product: We co-create with YOU – training enthusiasts, casual exercisers and athletes. This means:
- We take a lot of time understanding what users want and need
- We search for the perfect sustainable performance fabric, compare options, and test them extensively before settling for “the one”
- We work with amazing people with loads of experience in creating sports bras and use the latest technology such as 3D to ensure great accuracy, fit and form and to create the perfect design
- We do extensive prototyping and user testing to ensure we create a bra women will truly love. This also means testing in different environments, training forms and body types.
This process took us more than a year, but we believe the devil is in the detail and we want to offer you only the best.
Some of the most important things aren’t necessarily visible with the eye. Not only do we want that Tripulse activewear looks good, but also that it’s made of and made in a truly responsible way.
We created our supply chain in Europe from scratch and work only with partners that fulfill our high sustainability and social standards.
To bring this sports bra to life, we teamed up with one of the most innovative European textile companies. The raw material comes from sustainably managed and certified forests and is a by-product of the furniture industry. Our innovative premium fabric is sourced from Portugal and has a variety of environmental and health certifications of the highest standard.
Our Portuguese manufacturing partner is GOTS certified and has high social and environmental standards.
So you can have a truly good conscience when working out.

Two easy measurements, that’s it. You don’t have to decide and measure your size just yet. We’ll send you a survey with more info on how to measure and to submit your measurements once the campaign got successfully funded.
P.S.: If you end up measuring two different sizes for chest and underbust, no worries, choose the size that matches your chest measurement. The underbust ist not as important as the chest measurement, and since the bra has a very elastic and adjustable strap that sits under the chest, it can adjust to different sizes.
Note: Shipping rates can vary up or down a bit by one or two euro depending on the global shipping rates once we’ll ship your rewards.
We offer worldwide shipping, and decided to keep the cost of shipping separate from the campaign pledge. A table for estimated shipping rates is above. Once the campaign got successfully funded, we will be using the trusted BackerKit pledge manager to handle shipping. You’ll get notified about it once the campaign is completed.

FAQ
HOW DO I BACK THIS PROJECT?
1. Click “Back this Project”: Select your reward on the right side of the page. You can only make one pledge (=1 reward) during this campaign so make it count :-). For that, you’ll need to register an account in Kickstarter, but no worries, it’s quick and easy.
2. Payment: You will need to enter your payment details but your card will only be charged once we complete the campaign successfully. After that, Backerkit will be in touch a month or so afterward to ask for the final payment for shipping.
3. Color & size choosing: We’ll send you a post-campaign survey after the campaign is finished where you can choose which color(s) and size(s) you’d like to have.
4. Shipping: We will ship worldwide. Note though that potential duties and taxes are not covered and we advise you to check any local import/duty rates you might be liable to pay.
